| This beautiful hand carved italian cameo set in a 9ct yellow gold frame is a particularly high relief, the white surface of the portrait is raised to bring the figure to life. This cameo has the added benefit of having a hinged clip bail which allows this cameo to be worn as a brooch with the bail folded behind the cameo, or on a chain necklace, or clipped over a strand of pearls. | This hand carved italian shell cameo is 40mm with a 9ct yellow gold frame and pin to the back as well as the clip over style bail for the double row inclusive pearl necklace, so it can be worn as a brooch, on a chain or on this beautiful high grade double row of 6mm cultured freshwater pearls. The ivory white carved relief portrait of this romanesque lady on the brown background is of a high standard and therefore bears the signature of the artist. The pearls are also high grade with pretty lustre, good shape and hand threaded and knotted between each pearl for security particularly when carrying a pendant like this.
